This is the ideal course for those who are teachers already and wish to continue growing as carriers and channels of the Light of yoga, as well as advancing in your own evolutionary path.
The program is created to be done in two years and it is made of different components of practice, theory and personal study:
Participation in the annual “Advanced studies” course -
Year 1 – 100 horas of advanced practice that happens on Wednesdays from 13:00 to 15:30. Available both in-studio and online. These classes are open to participants of “The path of the luminous beings” mastery as well as to that are only interested in the advanced practice. students.
Year 2 – 100 horas of advanced practice that happens on Wednesdays from 13:00 to 15:30. Available both in-studio and online. These classes are open to participants of “The path of the luminous beings” mastery as well as to that are only interested in the advanced practice. students.
Workshops to be complete between the first and the second year in sequential order:
Practice as assistant teacher -You will be assisting the students in 3 classes taught by me. I teach while the teacher in the mastery training executes manual assists. (4h)
Practicum – The Yoga Alliance requires participants to teach 30 hours of public classes. Among those hours, they can also observe other classes and receive feedback from their own teaching.
Reading of the following books and for each one of them you have to hand me a brief review in which you include the main three teachings that you have received from the reading:
Final Essay (1500 words) – The students write in a final essay about a yogic theme of their choice. This essay should be handed it to me after participating in “The Art of Teaching” and in this workshop they would have taught an advanced level practice related to their theme.
Personal practice – In addition to the contact learning hours, the students commit to meditate 30 minutes each day, seven days a week, as well as to practicing yoga asana for 30-45 mins, six days per week.
Requirements: participants who wish to apply for the Yoga Alliance RYT-300h certificate must have coursed a 200h program and should have taught public classes for at least one year.
